The A - Z of a Fitter You; T is for...

Let's start with some philosophy:

Baby, can't you see, I'm calling A guy like you, should wear a warning It's dangerous, I'm falling There's no escape, I can't wait I need a hit, Baby, give me it You're dangerous, I'm loving it Too high, Can't come down Losin' my head, Spinnin' 'round and 'round Do you feel me now? Oh, The taste of your lips, I'm on a ride You're toxic I'm slippin' under With a taste of a poison paradise I'm addicted to you, don't you know that you're toxic? And I love what you do, don't you know that you're toxic? Dame Britney of Spears there, in 2003, discussing a 'toxic' relationship. Most of us have or had have had some toxic relationships - with relatives, with partners, with food. Situations where we're entwined with something that's bad for us, but we either can't see that's the case, or are addicted to it and can't extricate ourselves. So you have one small action following this email: Write down one thing in your life that has some kind of toxic influence on you. No rush. Then next to it, write down just one positive thing you could do to improve the problem. If it's a specific food, it could be ask you partner to stop buying it - out of sight, out of mind often works to keep people from eating crap. Or it could be agreeing with yourself to have a night off alcohol. Or to watch 30 mins less TV, in order to enable you to do something else. If you're struggling to think of how to work on them, let me know, as I'm good with ideas and ways to approach these sort of issues. Best wishes, Matt "In the Zone is Britney's best album" Boyles
