The A - Z of a Fitter You; F is for...

I'm just going to say this first part quickly, to rip the plaster off as swiftly as possible...

HERE IS NO QUICK FIX. The sooner you come to terms with that, the happier you'll be with your fitness/exercise/anything progress. HOWEVER: While it needs a bit of commitment and consistency, it doesn't need to a seismic shift in your day-to-day life. Which is why I created The 12 Minute Fix. 12 minutes a day will start to get you fit. Here's how it works:

  1. There are 12 exercises, 12 minutes

  2. You work for a portion of each minute, and rest for the remainder of that minute

  3. When the next minute starts, start the next exercise

  4. That's literally it

The beauty is, say you start with 20 seconds on, 40 seconds off, as you get fitter and stronger, just increase the time you work for, and decrease the rest period. Plus, you can add more weight or change the exercises, it's all you need to create a Fitter You. Go try the version that uses 5kg dumbbells on my site, there are other versions on the Workouts page on my site, but they are just for clients - online training starts from £50 a month.
